To paraphrase a great author, "When I leave home to go to school, Dad always says to me, 'Keep your eyelids up and see what you can see.'"

The Pact, by Jennifer Sturman
Good cross-over of chick lit and mystery. Complaint: all of the women have
suspiciously varied hair colors. But other than that, the people are pretty
realistic!
